Sorry guys cant join u all go Mr Loh's wake today as i wasn't able to get a day off today ><
For today i had to solo runner as my junior was on leave ~ for lunch dere were quite afew of VIPs & 1 of them was Kit Chan (the 1 who sang this years NDP song) I got to chat with her awhile when i served her food ~ and she also gave mi her autograph ~ BUT sadly i losted it =/ she signed on a piece of underliner but i accidently threw it away ... oh well nvm =/
break time when to meet szejin with her friends as it was her b-day today ~ went to kfc eat & chit chat with them b4 i left. ps ah had to leave earlier ~ will giv u a treat this weekend ^^
dinner tonight was dam packed as dere was a BUDGET company's dinner for 50 pax & ALOT of VIPs including 3 gd friends of the boss ~ the bosses friends meal cost $500.00 per person nett price without adding drinks yet wth ._. & i had to serve their food with gd service lol~ in the end the 3 of them spend a total of nearly $2000 on dinner, wine & beer 0.0
The ppl from the budget company juz pisss me off ~ i was about to serve their food when they started to change sits with each other ._. i was like wth cant u guys juz choose a sit n stick to it ... because each sit has a sit number when i receive the order & if they move i wont know who order what
Shall quote wad 1 guy from the budget company asked miGuy: Excuse mi is the bread free?
Matt: Yes its free, its for u to go with the soup or butter
Guy: Ok then can i have more bread pls?
Matt: Sure no problem sir, juz giv mi a min =)
(he repeatedly asked mi 7 times!! on the 8th time he asked i was like wtf)
Guy: Excuse mi, can i have another bread? thx
Matt: Sure sir, would u like to have a bread buffet instead?
(he was dam embarass after that & he stopped asking mi for bread lol)
he wasnt the only 1 .. dere was this lady who ordered Tortellini (Home made tortellini filled with smoked duck and foie gras served on a pool of truffle jus) for dinner ~ when i served her she was shocked & asked mi why isit so little ~ i told her that this is the normal size & she started comparing it with hawker centre food saying that even hawker centre food is more then this ._. i was like wtf this is a FINE DINNING restaurant not a hawker centre ._. she then asked my manager to come & settle this ~ in the end she changed her order to some pasta .... lol
The manager later told us that this company wanted to had a dinner at a ballroom but the total price was too ex so they have it here lol
The head chef & manager was impress with my work today haha & the chef rewarded mi with a main course & a desert ~ it was dam nice man Thx chef ^^
while the manager ask mi to order any drink i wan at the bar & he will get it for mi thx nick ^^
it felt gd when u end the day with a gd meal xD
Only time will tell.
